Free Portuguese Program for academic mobility students

The program has been remodeled and is now being offered to international students before the beginning of the scholastic semester at PUCRS. The program includes classroom hours as well as other integration activities around Campus.

Undergraduate courses to be offered entirely in English at PUCRS

In support of the practices of internationalization, PUCRS is now offering 15 courses entirely in English for both Brazilian and international students. Students will have the chance to get themselves an immersion into the language in a multicultural environment in distinct academic areas.

Cooperation project with German company Rosoma, PUC-Peru and DEG/KfW Development Bank involves the undergraduate program of Food Science and Innovation of PUCRS for the use of innovation technologies and strategies in fish processing.

Diagnostic method for schistosomiasis is internationally recognized

The diagnostic method for schistosomiasis developed by PUCRS Biomedical Parasitology Group, in partnership with University of Queensland and University Of Western Australia has earned international recognition. Known as Helmintex, the technique stands out for being highly sensitive as it can detect the magnetic properties of the parasite's eggs.

SUMMER COURSES

School of Medicine to offer four Summer Courses for international students

Registrations for the School of Medicine's new Summer Courses for international students (undergraduate level) are now open. The three-week program will give them a chance to have practicum work in four distinct areas – Surgery, Urology, Obstetrics and Clinical Neurology –, at São Lucas Hospital at PUCRS.

Rua da Cultura

The recently opened Rua da Cultura is located in a central area on campus that has been designed for the promotion of culture.
